Place of residence during creation Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne, first played on 24th April 2018. Martin Zimmermann is an associated artist with Tanzhaus Zürich.

With his great talent for creating improbable universes, Martin Zimmerman portrays three characters in a museum filled with rules and prohibitions. Subjected to a law by God knows whom, the visitors try to resist and experiment with their own spatial freedom, almost going mad in the process. The roles are switched: the people become works of art and the works of art in turn take on human characteristics. We experience all of Zimmerman’s magic and unrivalled humour in this absurd and existential piece that will open us up to the unknown.

This acrobat and clown from Zurich who captivates audiences around the world plunges a trio of characters into the authoritarian world of a museum. An allegory for our existence, filled with poetry and humour.

« Martin Zimmermann once more reinvigorates circus arts and theatre with his outstanding and frenzied show (…) where the classic art of being a clown reinvents itself (…) An insane tale about authority, submission and anarchy. »
