A kind-hearted courtesan, a passionate lover, a criminal society: mixed with cinematic shots, a group of spectacular actors reinvent the tragedy of Dumas fils while giving it less of a bitter ending.
The director Arthur Nauzyciel brings out the timeless appeal of the play, questioning the freedom to love, sexuality and the role of women in society. This powerful and contemporary production distils the essence of the sentimental drama, drawing us towards a new spiritual dimension.

When literature, theatre and film strike up a conversation with the tragic power of love, we find ourselves hanging on to these talented and emotional actors’ every word.

« With its Dame aux Camelias, the director Arthur Nauzyciel pulls of a great trick... Marie-Sophie Ferdane glows on stage and is both dark and luminous facing a Hedi Zada who nails the character of Armand torn and consumed by the fire of passion. Nothing else was needed to give birth to a “Lady” with such enchanting charms. »
